Depressed and I don't smell so good. Or well.

A recent report indicates that women who are depressed have a diminished sense of smell. As a result, they may use too much perfume. The study, which reported on female subjects, links autoimmune diseases such as lupus with depression.

This doesn't explain, yet, about guys who use too much aftershave or Deodorant in a Drum®.

so when i'm gagging over a tmp lady (Too Much Perfume), instead of thinking "poor dear, doesn't she know to dab it on, not pour it on, shpritz, not spray", I should be thinking "poor dear, she's probably depressed or has some other unspeakably awful disease"? only if the tmps have some small amount of compassion for those of us whose smellers are working perfectly fine, thank you, and often feel under assault!
